Mathematics Education Research Group (MERG)

The Mathematics Education Research Group (MERG) is made up of faculty in the field of mathematics education and is dedicated to research in mathematics education, particularly in statistical and probabilistic education and teacher training.

On this page, you will find information about our research lines, scientific production, and the transfer projects and contracts we have led.

We are members of the international MTSK network, recently recognized by the Ibero-American Graduate University Association along with researchers from 30 other Latin American institutions.

We are also active partners of the Spanish Mathematical Society (where the coordinator, Luis J. Rodríguez Muñiz, is second vice-president) and the Spanish Society for Research in Mathematics Education (where Laura Muñiz Rodríguez coordinates the Research Group in Statistics, Probability, and Combinatorics Education).
